Spend any time on AI Twitter and you'd think the model and the prompt are 90% of the work. They're maybe 20%.
The other 80% is data cleaning, schema design, integration plumbing, edge-case mapping, and observability. None of it is fun. All of it determines whether the AI feature works in production.
When projects fail, it's usually because someone underestimated this 80% and timeline-pressured the team into skipping it. Don't let that someone be you.
